23 - The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast
E-Ticket
Any Height
Travel through a tale as old as time in this enchanting dark ride, where guests ride an enchanted object through the Beast's castle.
QUEUE:
In the back of the French village is the Beast's castle, which looms over the forest surrounding it. Guests cross a bridge into its main courtyard, which serves as a waiting area and the entrance to the ride. Here, they follow a path into the castle, meandering through its hallways and seeing enchanted objects. They might even see halls with the Beast's shadow walking through.
PRE-SHOW:
Guests are loaded into one of two pre-show rooms, where they find a table with Cogsworth, Chip, and Mrs. Potts on it as well as a stained glass window of the castle. Once the room is full, a cast member will close the door. The guests will then watch as the window comes to life and explains the backstory of the ride. Once there was a handsome prince who lived in this castle, but he was selfish and unkind. One night, an old woman sought shelter from a storm in his castle, offering a rose as a gift, but the prince dismissed her because of her unflattering appearance. Angered by this, the old woman revealed herself to be an enchantress and turned the prince into a hideous beast. In addition, she placed a curse on the castle and all of its servants. The rose she offered him still sits on a pedestal, and if he doesn't learn how to love by the time last last petal falls, he shall remain a beast forever.
Then, the objects come to life. Chip longs to be human again, even though Cogsworth doubts it would happen, much to the annoyance of Mrs. Potts. Then, Lumiere comes in and tells them about a girl who has taken her father's place as the Beast's prisoner. Taking pity on her and wondering if she could be the one to break the curse, they decide to make her feel welcome, asking the guests to come along too.
The guests then enter a room where they board giant teacups. They are trackless ride vehicles and fir up to six people.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The ride begins by moving past a dark passage. When they emerge, they come into the Beast's dining room, where Lumiere and the staff are serving Belle dinner while singing "Be Our Guest." The cups continue on to see the Beast, who is furious about this. When they exit the castle, they come across some wolves, but the Beast keeps Belle safe from them.
When heading back into a castle courtyard, guests see a snowy scene with Belle and the Beast. "Something There" is playing in the background. They then enter a ballroom, where Belle and the Beast are dancing as "Beauty and the Beast plays."
Then, things take a chaotic turn. A mob raids the castle, but the objects fight back. On one side of the room, Cogsworth pokes LeFou in the butt to save Lumiere. Then, guests end up on the roof of the castle, where the Beast is dueling with Gaston as Belle watches with worry. They pass by Gaston's shadow falling down a wall before entering the West Wing, where the last rose petal falls. In the meantime, Belle is standing next to the wounded Beast, admitting that she loves him. At once, the rooms lights up and the Beast turns back into a prince with a pepper's ghost effect.
Finally, the cups enter another ballroom scene where Belle and the Beast dance with Maurice (Belle's father) and the now-human castle servants watching. The cups proceed into the unloading area, where a giant stained glass window depicting the final scene of the film is seen. From here, guests get off their vehicles and walk out into the courtyard again.

This boat ride, using magnetic systems to turn and move backwards, is a revolutionary new dark ride retelling the animated film.
QUEUE:
In the back of the forest, guests will see Rapunzel's tower. They will move past it and into a cave, where several mosaics are. These tell the backstory of the ride, telling of Rapunzel's birth, kidnapping, and raising by Mother Gothel, as well as the Kingdom of Corona's quest to find her. They will then pass by wanted posters of Flynn Rider (whose nose was drawn incorrectly, as usual) and the Stabbington brothers. In this cave, they will board their boats and get ready to sail.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The ride starts by leaving the cave and entering the forest. Here, Flynn is being pursued by Corona soldiers and Maximus the horse. Then, he looks at the tower in the distance and decides to go there. The boats go up a lift to enter the previously mentioned tower. Here, they pass by Rapunzel, who is drawing on her walls while singing "When Will My Life Begin?" In the meantime, Flynn is seen sneaking in. As guests enter the next scene, they see Rapunzel holding Flynn hostage, asking him to take her to see the floating lights. The boat drops to get out of the tower.
Here, Mothel Gothel realizes that Rapunzel is gone and is panicked, knowing that her eternal youth is threatened by her absence. In the meantime, the boats go into the Snuggly Duckling, where they see the thugs singing "I've Got a Dream" with Rapunzel and Flynn. Then, Maximus opens the door, looking inside. The boats proceed through a passage, where they encounter Corona soldiers and the Stabbington brothers at a dam. To escape, the boats go down a drop.
In the next scene, guests come into the Corona harbor, where Rapunzel and Flynn are in a boat singing "I See the Light" as the lanterns float around them. However, as they turn the corner, guests see Mother Gothel and the unconscious Stabbington brothers, telling Rapunzel that it's time to come home. In the meantime, Flynn is seen looking for her. They go into a scene inside the tower (which is inside a cave just so guests don't have to go up another lift.) Mother Gothel's shadow is seen falling out the window while Rapunzel, whose long hair has been cut, is seen over Flynn, her tears healing him.
In the final scene, guests enter a celebration. Here, the king and queen are welcoming their daughter home, as well as congratulating Flynn for bringing her back. As several lanterns fly overhead, guests pass by Maximus and Pascal, as well as the old man dressed as a Cupid, who gives some commentary to guests before the go to the unload station.
POST-RIDE:
Guests travel into the Corona Curiosities gift shop, where ride photos are displayed and Tangled merchandise is sold.
27 - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
E-Ticket
Must be 38 in.
In this family coaster, guests ride conjoined mine carts through the German mountains, seeing scenes from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as they go.
QUEUE:
The mountain lies in the center of Storybookland. Guests follow a passage through a forest and into the mine, where they can sort diamonds, wash equipment, and more as they wait to board. Then, they will get on their mine carts and pull their lap bars down.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
As the train exits the tunnel, they see Snow White in the forest, looking for somewhere to hide from the Evil Queen. As they see her, the vehicles go up a lift and then drop down. They move around the forest before going up a hill and towards the mountain. Here, they go up a second hill before moving around and going into the mine, where dark ride elements are seen. Guests see the Seven Dwarfs hard at work in their mine. Then, when the shift ends, Doc leads them out as "Heigh Ho" is sung, ascending a third hill as they do.
This is where the highest point in the ride is. The train drops out of the mountain and moves around the forest, going past a waterfall and through a tunnel. Then, they see the back of the Dwarfs' cottage, where Snow White is dancing in them. Little do they know that the Evil Queen is outside in her peddler disguise. As her laugh is heard overhead, guests enter a tunnel, where they come across a scene where Snow White is laid to rest in the forest. Then, a prince kisses her and brings her back to life, the Dwarfs' rejoicing as the train goes to the unload station.
POST-RIDE:
Guests follow a path into Mountainside Mementos, a gift shop selling merchandise themed to the attraction as well as displaying photos taken on the ride.
