Main Street, U.S.A.: An Introduction

OVERVIEW:
When guests first enter through Disneyville or by transport, they don't see a park. Instead, they see the elegant, French colonial-style Disneyland Hotel, complete with a giant Mickey clock and a Fantasia-themed hedge garden. However, there is a tunnel beneath the building. Those curious to see what's on the other side of it will be amazed.

Why? Because on the other side is a more familiar sight: a train station. with a Mickey floral beneath it. Guests go under one of two tunnels, advertising attractions found in the park, and emerge in a charming Midwestern town at the turn of the Twentieth Century. Despite this, there is a Late Victorian design to many buildings, a nod to Canada's European influences.

Guests stand there in a town square, complete with a park in the middle raising American and Canadian flags. In addition, there is the classic Partners statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, which is here instead of at the hub because the hub is the area of Garden of Dreams.

But there's more to this. In fact, as guests go down the street, they will find many shops, restaurants, and vehicles to see. Unfortunately, this does not have the covered arcades that Paris's Main Street has.
